We found a clue.

I'm Melting!

We're not sure how it happened. One minute, Sam was enjoying an ice cream cone — the next: this is all that was left.

Time to Ride

Henry, Luke and Sam got to venture out on the bike with Dennis this evening. Each of them seemed to enjoy the ride.

Thursdays

Stella was actually happy to pose for me today. It must have been because she was wearing this fab new dress (a lovely birthday surprise — received in the mail today) from my Aunt Olga and Uncle Jim.

Cooking Instructions

In my never-ending quest to organize my life and my home, I started in on cookbooks and recipes. I'll still be working on it in a few days.

The Cool Room

This week is a hot, humid one. Dennis's office is the only room in the house with air conditioning, so (for this week, at least) I'm renaming it the family room, where shirts and shoes are optional.

Over Easy

The fuchsia peonies have been growing in the backyard since we moved here. A few years ago, I decided to pull a stalk out by the roots and transplant it to one of the flowerbeds out front. Peonies have shown up there each year since, but instead of enormous fuchsia pompoms, I get flowers that look more like fried eggs. I'm not complaining, though.
