Bob should be finished installing trim in the family room on Monday. In the meantime, Stella and I did a little cleaning. In this shot, she's standing on the new window seat. Drawers and cabinets still need pulls, and the bench still needs a cushion and pillows. Then, there's painting to do. Since I'm not one to plan too far ahead, though, I'll stop there.
Stella has taken to wearing large, paper flowers in her hair (but removes them before heading outside to play). I told her I wanted to get a photo before she took them out, but she wasn't exactly cooperative.
My computer was driving me crazy: shutting down whenever it seemed to feel like it or just pausing for long periods of time. After an unsuccessful hunt for the cause of the problem, Dennis copied all of my files to an external hard drive (or two), and wiped the computer's hard drive on Sunday. I'm now exclusively using Adobe Lightroom for photo management (rather than Picasa). While I certainly haven't mastered the program, I am learning. One nifty feature of Lightroom is its presets capability that applies a certain look to a photo with one click. I used one (I think I chose "Yesteryear") on this shot of Henry, then made a few more adjustments.
