Stella, 71 weeks old, was rather uncooperative yesterday (in more ways than one). Ergo, it was late when I got photos of her, later when I downloaded them, and much later when I tried to post them here. At that point, Blogger was uncooperative. So, here they are (as I've always professed), better late than never.
Little Miss Stella is 70 weeks old. Auntie Mo is here, so we had a busy day, not that Stella wanted to spend any time with her. After dinner, when Stella was in naught but a diaper, I remembered that I needed to get some photos. Henry suggested that I take pictures of Stella playing the drums, as they had made some good music together earlier in the day.
Luke played in the State High School Golf Tournament, after being the only member of his team to qualify two weeks ago. Saturday's weather was wet, windy and cold, and Luke is disappointed in his round. He shot a 91 and finished ahead of about ten players, out of 36 total. Dennis and I, however, are proud of our boy and look forward to what he'll do next year, as a sophomore. That fellow with Luke is his coach, Ryan Meserve, who braved the elements right alongside Luke.
At 69 weeks, Stella is busy and cute and funny. She likes chocolate, as you can see. Stella also loves to explore and spend time with her siblings, and she's working on her vocabulary. She says "yes" like a pro, and creates words that sound like: Bridget, Henry, Luke, Jack, Sam, please, thank you.
We spent Saturday afternoon at our local apple festival. As Henry and his friend, Nate, stood in line for the inflated obstacle course, I thought I'd get a photo of them together. They decided to make me work for it.
