Five Rosebushes So Far

Last year, I decided that I wanted to plant one rosebush for each year we've lived in this crazy house of ours. Thus far, I've purchased and planted five. I need two more to catch up, as we took up residence here in May of 2005. Here are some of the beauties that greeted me today.

What a great idea! The roses are beautiful too! I planted three knock out bushes two years ago and they are still pathetically small and spindly. I thought for sure the deer would ignore them and I had heard they were easy to maintain. So far, wrong on both accounts! ; )
