Last year, I bought a climbing rosebush and planted it. This year, I gave it something to climb by pulling the ratty old upholstery off one of two chairs I bought long ago at a yard sale, spray painting the naked chair, and placing it in the flowerbed. I love the look, and I love the roses, which smell wonderful.
