For Sweet Baby Will

After a very long battle with cancer and a very short life, Brave Will Hladun, who was born on 14 July 2008, is now free of pain. From the guestbook entries at his CaringBridge site http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/bravewill, it appears that he died about 2:00 this afternoon. It's funny: at 2:00, I looked out the kitchen window and saw a bald eagle flying over the field behind our backyard (I had never seen one before), and I thought, "Maybe that's Sweet Baby Will soaring up to Heaven." Here's another funny thing: I fell very much in love with someone I had never met.
