A Treat
I baked today, which is a bit of a rarity. I find myself spending less and less time in the kitchen (and I like it that way). As a matter of fact, as I type this, Luke is making dinner. I guess these sugar cookie bars (found on Pinterest) were worth the effort, but I wasn't blown away or anything.

I have to say that sugar cookies, as a genre, are not all that exciting to me.
Do I remember correctly that you're gluten-free, or am I not following along very well? (I'm so behind on blog reading it's scandalous.) Wondering if you gluten-freed these or just made the recipe as-is.
As you now know from the comment I left at Scrutinies, my whole family (including me) jettisoned gluten long ago. I used the Bronskis' Artisanal GF flour mix for these. It works great.
