At Bat

Luke's All-Star team played in the state tournament in Harrison, after going undefeated in the district tournament here in Manchester. The Maranacook All-Stars won their first game at states, but lost the next two, which ended their season. Dennis and I find it a mixed blessing. Winning states and going on to the regional tournament in Marlborough, MA, would have been exciting, but it was a long drive just to Harrison, and winning the tournament would have meant three more trips there on top of the three already taken.
