More than a year ago, I bought a LumiQuest Promax System, which is set of diffusers that attaches to the camera's external flash. Neither Dennis nor I have used it much, but tonight, I decided to experiment. The first photo of Jack was shot with the gold metallic insert, which "adds a warm, sunset tone to the scene and is useful for outdoor fill flash." The second photo of Jack was taken with the silver metallic insert, which "adds a specular look to highlights and it is particularly useful for weddings." (Yes, that word should be "specular." I thought it was a typo, but when I looked it up, I discovered that specular means "mirrorlike".)
