Prayer Request

Prayer Request: Will you please pray for Andi? We just discovered (on Tuesday) that she has Lyme nephritis, which means that her kidneys have begun to fail. We're treating her with doxycycline, subcutaneous fluids, homeopathy, and herbals. Right now, the biggest struggle is getting her to eat anything. I am incredibly thankful that, so far today, we've managed to get her to eat two small jars of pureed meat, tiny dog treats, a little bit of deli turkey, a cracker, and a bit of a peanut butter cookie. On Thursday, we see the vet again to take blood to learn if the bad stuff (like creatine) is decreasing and the good stuff (like albumin) is increasing. If that doesn't happen, there will be little hope and little life expectancy. Andi is a sweet, neurotic, loveable, nearly four-year-old. Thank you.
