For months, Luke and two of his friends (along with Bridget, who lent a hand) have been planning a dance: The First Annual Snow Ball. It went down tonight and appeared to be a success.

A Good Day for Bubbles

On more than one occasion, my mother-in-law has suggested getting outside and blowing bubbles when the temperature gets below zero, because the bubbles freeze. The problem is, that when the temperature gets below zero, it's hard to get myself outside. Stella, Henry, and I did it today, though (and all the boys sledded and snowboarded again for at least an hour). Stella was not dressed warmly enough in her pink coat and didn't stay outside long, but she insists on putting fashion first. I was, however, very pleased that she finally wore the gorgeous beaded beret Bridget knit. By the way, Luke just reported that the temperature (at 9:30 pm) is 17 below. Photos taken 1/23/13
