Avoiding Traffic

Today's driver's ed class for Luke and Bridget was scheduled for 2:45, at the high school. We got there about the same time most of the students were moving out. To avoid traveling in the pack of cars all the way home, I pulled off near the beach and took a few shots.

Thank you. One of these days, I'll get a shot of milkweed highlighted by the sun, but whenever I see it, I'm not in a position to stop and take a picture. As for these shots, I would have liked to spend more time getting them, but it was a bit chilly, and I was not wearing anything near warm enough. I think it's the optimist in me that always wants to assume the weather is better than it actually is. =)
