Today was lovely. I got a couple of hours to myself to paint and enjoy my tea; Luke made me crepes for breakfast and a cake for tonight's dessert; and everyone got me lovely gifts. While I love Stella's drawing, Jack's card (with the drawing of him giving me a heart), Bridget's crocheted creations (and Graham Greene book), the paintbrushes from Henry, the beads from Sam, Luke's traditional gift of white chocolate, and the the pottery from Dennis (oh, and the Longfellow's gift card), I was most excited about the cash, because I'm that much closer to buying the Lens.
