My Sidekick

You've seen this before, when it was my new purse. For my birthday, though, Dennis bought me a smaller version to use as a purse, so this big boy became my book and drawing supply tote. It accompanies me all over the house, helping me in my pursuit of knowledge and drawing acumen.

I'm so glad you linked to your older post. I clicked the link and what I read inspired me again. I took a drawing class last semester at a local University and I was devastated because my drawings were let's say not great and not even close to being up to par with the talent in the class. So I stopped drawing after that bad experience. But its time to begin again and remember we are all unique artists and we create differently (and with practice see improvements!).

By the way, love the bag. I carry a Sabrina Ward Harrison bag with me with magazines and art supplies and once in a while get to actually read or use them:).

I love the bag, too. Purses are my weakness, but TJ Maxx is the only place I shop for them.

Thank you for letting me know that something I wrote inspired you (especially since your art journaling inspired me). It has taken me a long time to realize that pursuing something because it's important to me is the only reason I need. I've also finally figured out that I don't need to please the rest of the world. It's very liberating knowledge.
