Baking gluten-free bread is risky business. You never know what you're going to get. I gave it go today, though, and was happy with the results.

A Good Day for Bubbles

On more than one occasion, my mother-in-law has suggested getting outside and blowing bubbles when the temperature gets below zero, because the bubbles freeze. The problem is, that when the temperature gets below zero, it's hard to get myself outside. Stella, Henry, and I did it today, though (and all the boys sledded and snowboarded again for at least an hour). Stella was not dressed warmly enough in her pink coat and didn't stay outside long, but she insists on putting fashion first. I was, however, very pleased that she finally wore the gorgeous beaded beret Bridget knit. By the way, Luke just reported that the temperature (at 9:30 pm) is 17 below. Photos taken 1/23/13
