A Day at the Playground ... With Balloons

Today marked the end of another school year for the local kids. Our friend Daisy invited Henry to the elementary school playground for some kickball and other games with her son and his friends. Since it was such a lovely day, I decided to take most of the kids to the playground. (Luke was golfing: 36 holes -- 77 on Tomahawk and 78 on Arrowhead.)

It worked out perfectly, since earlier in the morning, I had decided that my poem for the day would be a haiku about a balloon vendor, and I called the local florist to order a dozen helium-filled balloons. I got some great shots of them, and the kids thought they were fab.
