Sam had a Band-Aid on his head at his first birthday party. Now, on his sixth birthday, he has a scrape in nearly the same spot. I can't remember what necessitated the medical attention five years ago, but I can tell you that a flight over his handlebars, sans helmet, and a landing on the driveway caused his current -- and surprisingly mild -- head injury.
