It's now Monday, May 4th. Leafing out they are, along with everything else in the yard. It's amazing to watch happen. I'm reminded of Donaldson's description of the Sunbane in second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. When there was a green, fertile, sun, the plants and trees , etc screamed into being, growing visibly into a jungle through the day. The way he described it as painful and driven mania is quite the image when you take the time to let it sink in.
The burning bushes near the garage will soon leaf out.
