Enlivening the Graveyard


Bridget, Henry and I visited one of Augusta's cemeteries shortly before dusk. I had driven by earlier in the day, after bringing Bridget, Henry and Sam to Sunday School and noticed the trees, which were still covered with leaves as vivid as the colors on a painter's palette. That's when I made my plan to return later with the camera.

Gosh, but that's a full tree. This fall has been gorgeous from the initial explosion of color through the copper tones we still enjoy. What a long burn.
